Quilt
-2025- Quilt began as a request from my friend and cohort member, Elyse Spencer, who wanted me to create a quilt from her old shirts, bags, scarves, and other belongings to honor her life, particularly her college experiences and travels. She trusted my skills, and though I wasn’t sure what I could handle, I took it on. Through the process of piecing together these materials, I learned more about her story, about myself, and about the care and connection embedded in making by hand.
